The armed conflict is the culmination of a process of both open and obscured clashes supported by the local classes and the most reactionary political circles linked to comprador and corrupt regional alliances.

Despite the heroic uprising of the Sudanese people and their revolutionary forces on the ground, which have been able to formulate positions and visions loyal to the revolution, the counter-revolution camp has dominated. This camp is led by the military establishment, the tool of Al-Bashir and all the reactionary regimes that preceded him, and still deprives the revolution of progress and the people of liberation, democracy and the building of a civil state. Only secularism is capable of uniting Sudan and its multiple components. The undersigned parties and organizations are following the developments in Sudan with great concern. Together, we:

Condemn this violent and terrorist turn in which the Sudanese people have no interest, and call for an immediate end to the sound of bullets, the return of the army to its barracks, and the disbandment of all militias, including Janjaweed gangs called Rapid Support Forces, whose hands are stained with the blood of helpless and innocent people, especially in the Darfur region.

Affirm our sympathy and our principled and unconditional support to the brotherly Sudanese people in these difficult circumstances. We renew our faith in the capacity of the people of Sudan to stop their enemies who attempt to punish them for their glorious revolution.

Renew our support for the revolutionary forces in Sudan, led by the Sudanese Communist Party, which has remained an authentic expression of the coherent revolutionary position and whose developments, including the armed conflict, and have confirmed the correctness of its positions.

Call on all progressive forces in the region and the world to strengthen support for the Sudanese people and their revolution, and to confront all forms of regional and international interference in order to interrupt the revolutionary process and slow it down— just as happened with the rest of the Arab revolutions, in order to perpetuate control over the region and its capabilities.

Signing parties and organizations:

1- The Workers’ Party – Tunisia

2- Party of the Workers’ Democratic Way – Morocco

3- The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine

4- The Jordanian People’s Democratic Unity Party

5- The Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine

6- The Lebanese Communist Party

7- The Jordanian People’s Democratic Party (Hashd)

8- We Can Movement – Mauritania

9- College of Sahrawi Human Rights Defenders in Western Sahara CODESA

10- Socialist Popular Alliance Party – Egypt

11- The Kuwaiti progressive movement

12- The Palestinian People’s Party

13- The Jordanian Communist Party

14- Bahrain Progressive Forum

15- Qutb Party – Tunisia

16- United Democratic Patriots Party – Tunisia

17- The Sudanese Communist Party

[22
23
post-6052","statement","type-statement","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","tag-political-power","statement-type-official-statement
["GET
