The horrible earthquake which hit regions in Syria and Turkey revealed another ugly reality of US imperialism<\/strong> which has been involved in multiple crimes against humanity in the region. The US government\u2019s \u201cCaesar Act\u201d imposes an unjust blockade on Syria and deprives the Syrian people<\/strong> of various mechanisms of survival and means of solidarity and support in this difficult catastrophe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to the occupation of part of its lands, whether directly by US imperialism, Turkish forces or terrorist gangs, Syria has also been targeted by repeated<\/strong> Israeli military attacks<\/strong> which aggravates the plunder of the Syrian people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The undersigned parties and organizations state the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– We present our condolences<\/strong> to the Syrian and Turkish peoples as well as our unconditional solidarity with the families victims of this atrocious disaster.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– We renew our demand for the immediate abolition<\/strong> of the unjust \u00ab\u00a0Caesar Law\u00a0\u00bb and the unjust siege imposed on the Syrian people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– We call upon the United Nations to assume its responsibilities<\/strong> in providing necessary support to the Syrian people in facing the consequences of the earthquake, which left devastation in addition to the destruction of the civil war and aggression that has been going on for more than ten years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– We call upon all progressive forces in the world to organize all forms of solidarity and support<\/strong> for the Syrian people so that they can overcome this catastrophe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
